Who Wants to Be a Millionare Third-Grader???

This morning we tried out some new 'Smart' technology and used clickers to answer some multiple choice math questions. We learned to look out for 'trickster' answers in each question (ones that at a quick glance, look like the obvious answer, but they really aren't). Many of us got tricked on the 'Emma - Owen' question 5+5+5=         x 5. Ask your child to explain how this question has anything to do with Emma and Owen! They could type a comment explaining their thinking so we can post it on our blog.
