Grouping- Arrays, Arrays and More Arrays

Today we learned about arrays. An array must be organized in columns and rows, and must be in the shape of a rectangle or square. We made many math sentences about how we grouped our array.
If we made an array with 12 blocks, some of the sentences could be:
12 / 2 = 6
2 of 6 = 12   OR    2 x 6 = 12
12 - 6 - 6 = 0

6 + 6 = 12
