Multiplication Houses

Today in class we made a multiplication house for the zero facts. Students will bring this home in their agendas tonight. For homework, students need to build the zero facts house. They could use some adult help with this (if you have an exacto blade, it makes it easier to cut out the doors).

The steps to building the house are:
-cut out both patterns along the dashed gray lines,
-cut out the window and door openings along the dashed lines,
-add glue to the back of the front of the house around the window frames and doors,
-glue the two pieces of house together so the windows open onto the multiplication-sentence answers and the door opens onto the riddle answer.
